These are two Aster relatives that were found long ago as waifs by Farwell, and barely warrant inclusion in the flora.
1. Leaves obscurely to definitely toothed, broadly oblanceolate to elliptic; disk florets 9-20.
1. Leaves entire, narrowly oblanceolate to linear; disk florets 5-10.
