Adoxaceae

Our two genera included in Caprifoliaceae in Michigan Flora.

Adoxa moschatellina L., the Moschatel, occurs in the Lake Superior region of northeastern Minnesota and adhacent Ontario, and could conceivably be found in the western Upper Peninsula or Isle Royale. It is a small, very early blooming, forest understory herb, while our two genera are both woody.
