C. orientale of Michigan Flora.

Probably adventive from western North America, this is a species of disturbed sites now known from several stations in the Upper Peninula. First collected in sandy soil at Manistique (Schoolcraft Co.) in 1905 (Davis, MICH). The small, wingless friuts appear distinctive.
