Corispermum hookeri N. Martineau

Sand dunes and beaches of the Great Lakes.

Long known from shores of Lakes Erie, Huron, and Superior in Ontario, this was first found by N. Martineau in Alger Co. in 2019.  A 1954 specimen collected in Alger Co. by Ed Voss is too immature for positive determination, but may also be this species.  This seems to be the least weedy of the Great Lakes region Corispermum species, though also the most poorly known. So far, not known from the Lake Michigan shore.

Locations
