Parietaria pensylvanica Willd.
Common Name: PELLITORY
Coefficient of Conservatism: 2
Coefficient of Wetness: 3
Wetness Index: FACU
Physiognomy: Nt A-Forb

Moist to dry forests, often rocky or sandy; gravelly shores, sometimes in weedy, even urban, settings.

A ± erect, weak annual, little if at all branched. Records north of the middle of the Lower Peninsula are mostly recent, and sometimes from urban settings, suggesting they may be from recent spread. Records from Burnt Bluff (Delta Co.) are in a more natural setting, and are presumably native.
