Eragrostis frankii B. S. Walters

Roadsides, fields, river banks, and muddy places.

This species differs from somewhat similar ones with which it might be confused (E. pectinacea, E. pilosa) in the tendencies for the tip of the larger (second) glume to be nearly or quite opposite the tip of the first lemma, for the grain to be more plumply spherical, and for the sheaths to be longer than the internodes.
