Digitaria ischaemum A. A. Reznicek

Dry roadsides, fields, disturbed places, and sand barrens; lawns and gardens; sometimes spread into open disturbed forests and other natural areas, especially along trails. Naturalized from Eurasia and first collected in 1848 in Macomb Co.

The second glume (and, more sparsely, the sterile lemma) is softly pubescent, especially between the nerves, with very fine, minutely gland-tipped hairs.
