Listera cordata of Michigan Flora.
Usually in sphagnum of coniferous swamps, with cedar, tamarack, spruce, and/or fir; less commonly in hemlock groves and moist forests (e.g., along Lake Superior). Often common where found, but very delicate and inconspicuous. Plants in a colony may vary considerably in flower color.
