Listera auriculata of Michigan Flora.
Most characteristic of sandy soil in open alder thickets along rivers and Lake Superior; occasionally in mixed forests, or spruce-fir on Isle Royale. Hybrids with N. convallarioides are known from Alger and Luce Cos. and have been named N. ×veltmanii (Case) Baumbach.
