In Michigan known only from Isle Royale, where collected at Scoville Point and on Passage Island and presumably occurring elsewhere; local in rock crevices and pools on the north shore of Lake Superior in Ontario.

Resembling Triantha glutinosa in habit, but smaller in every way and with a smooth scape.
