A weedy European species, collected by O. A. Farwell at Rochester, Oakland Co., in 1896 (BLH) and on a roadside west of Sutton’s Bay, Leelanau Co., in 1954 (P. W. Thompson L-1760, BLH).
Generally more erect and larger-flowered than G. aequale, G. molle, and G. pusillum, and with the lobes of the leaf more broadly cuneate in outline, not so narrowly cleft.
