Senecio viscosus L.

Common Name: STICKY RAGWORT
Coefficient of Conservatism: *
Coefficient of Wetness: 5
Wetness Index: UPL
Physiognomy: Ad A-Forb

A Eurasian species, widely introduced in northern North America, collected in disturbed areas along a road in Gogebic Co. in 2004 by Ian Shackleford and Lynn Adams.

This is a weedy annual somewhat similar to Senecio sylvaticus in being quite pubescent and having tiny rays, but much more sticky-glandular and with dark tips to the involucral bracts and bracteoles, like S. vulgaris
