Arnoglossum atriplicifolium (L.) H. Rob.

Common Name: PALE INDIAN PLANTAIN
Coefficient of Conservatism: 8
Coefficient of Wetness: 5
Wetness Index: UPL
Physiognomy: Nt P-Forb

Cacalia atriplicifolia of Michigan Flora.

Dry (rarely moist) open or lightly shaded ground, especially with oak, as on old dunes; prairies, stream banks, drier, upper portions of river floodplain forests, etc.

This is a tall, very glaucous, large-leaved, striking plant; apparently truly local, for it would be hard for collectors to overlook.
