Habenaria ciliaris of Michigan Flora.
In sphagnum bogs; rarely in moist acid sandy meadows and oak savannas, although more historical records are apparently from this habitat.
Occasionally occurs with P. blephariglottis in the southwestern Lower Peninsula and there hybridizing with it (see discussion under P. blephariglottis).
