Sarraceniaceae
This is a small family, but one of immense scientific and popular interest. Darlingtonia californica Torr. is the California pitcher-plant, endemic to northern California and southern Oregon. The only other genus in North America is Sarracenia, of which all species are native in the southeastern United States. Only one of them ranges as far north as Michigan, and beyond to Labrador and as far west as Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
