2. Corolla over 1 cm long, with prolonged tube, bilaterally symmetrical; fruit a berry, yellow to red or blue to purple-black.
2. Corolla less than 1 cm long, bell-shaped, regular or nearly so; fruit a white drupe with 2 pits (red to purple in 1 occasionally escaped species).
