Anacardiaceae
A predominantly tropical family, including several edible products (mango, cashew, pistachio) as well as poisonous plants.
1. Leaves simple, entire.
1. Leaves compound, leaflets usually toothed.
2. Inflorescences terminal, at maturity erect or ascending with red glandular-pubescent fruit; leaves with leaflets either entire and the rachis winged or ± regularly toothed along at least half the margin.
2. Inflorescences axillary, at maturity spreading to pendulous with glabrous whitish fruit; leaves with leaflets entire or some irregularly notched or dentate, the rachis not winged.
