Cosmos sulphureus A. A. Reznicek

Collected in 1942 by C. R. & F. N. Hanes along a roadside west of Schoolcraft (Kalamazoo Co.) The leaf segments run wider in this species than in C. bipinnatus (± lanceolate vs. filiform).
