Chelone lyonii M. R. Penskar

This is the most commonly cultivated Chelone, a handsome, robust species native to the high elevations of the southern Appalachians, but rarely escaped to moist roadsides and ditches northwards. First collected as an escape in 2014, in Washtenaw Co.
