Arctostaphylos

We have only a single species, a circumpolar one. There are numerous others in the western part of North America, known generally as manzanita and ranging in habit from low shrubs to small trees, but often with the shreddy outer bark and smooth reddish or mahogany stems that can be seen on older plants of our species.

All species found in Arctostaphylos

Arctostaphylos uva-ursiBEARBERRY, KINNIKINICK
